As a Part 103 Ultra-light aircraft, the Fantom X does not currently require a formal FAA pilot's license in the US. However, we mandate a compulsory manufacturer-led training program to ensure safe operation for all owners.

Beyond the initial purchase price, the Fantom X is designed for minimal maintenance. Annual costs are estimated to be significantly lower than traditional aircraft, primarily covering battery health checks and basic aerodynamic inspections.

The Fantom X requires a 20x20 ft clear flat area for VTOL operations. It can operate from private property, designated flight parks, and many uncontrolled airfields, subject to local zoning and regulations.

The aircraft has a cruise speed of 55 mph (88 km/h), as electronically governed to comply with ultra-light aviation regulations while ensuring maximum efficiency.

Safety is our core priority. The Fantom X features a redundant octocopter propulsion system (it can land with 2 motor failures) and includes a ballistic emergency parachute as standard equipment for extreme emergencies.

Our standard pilot indoctrination course takes approximately 15-20 hours of instruction, including simulation-based training and practical flight maneuvers.
